WOW been a long time

Well I have not been on my own blog in a long time I guess. I just usually update my website instead. I should do some new info here today I guess. Will work on that for sure.

September 2008

It has been a long summer and lots has happened. September is here and I am ready to get back to work! Right now I am working on a male fairy for a customer and then I have a wonderful Willow Woman fairy to work on the beginning of September for another customer. News for April 20th

Some of you may be wondering why I have not created many new dolls this month. It has been a crazy month here in the Talbot Walker Household. My significant other of 13 years, Joel, has had a lot of neck problems forcing him to take a leave from work. He has been through a lot of treatments for the ongoing pain and we have had a few ER visits. So as you can imagine with kids at home as well I am pooped out. So I have been taking things a bit slower this month. Good news is that Joel should be on the mend and I can resume my regular work load. It will be nice to get back in action.

In the meantime I have been working on Prototype "Ella Rose" for Vikki Ebbeling. She will be ready in 2 more days and photos will be posted. Vikki will be bringing Ella Rose with her to the St. Louis Missouri Doll Show in June to show. So that is very exciting.

I have one OOAK Fairy that has been sculpted but still needs hands so that should be ready in the next week. As you know I have not sculpted a miniature fairy in months. My Babies have been so popular that they kind of took over for a bit.

Other things happening is that I am working on taking in orders for Logo work. I will be available for hire to create web logos for websites. I can also do other graphic work for websites as well if anyone is interested just e-mail me at thepaintedsun@aol.com

Coming Soon! 23" Tall OOAK Fairy Children!

MY NEW 23" TALL OOAK FAIRY CHILDREN FOR JUNE'S SHOW IN MISSOURI!

Coming soon are some really fun OOAKs I am working on. I have decided to move into creating larger scale dolls also. These will be fairy children around 23" in scale. They will be shown for the first time ever in St. Louis Missouri at the Tiny Treasures Show.

MY FIRST OOAK PETAL PREEMIE

Just a fun note to add. My new Petal Preemie Baby Girl will be
arriving tomorrow created by one of my favorite artists Lorna Miller Sands. I
will post photos of her when she has arrived. I am so excited. My first LMS ooak
baby! FUN.

Marissa May Prototype will be ready around end of February and up on Ebay!

As of March 1st I will be focusing more on my sculpting and beginning sculpting ooak one of a kind realistic babies. I am hoping to possibly get some of my babies into the Tiny Treasures Show in St. Louis Missouri this June. I will post photos of babies when they are completed on my website for all of you to have a sneak peek of what I will have for sale at this show! So sadly I will not be doing very many reborns until late or end of the summer. I will not be doing any more custom orders unless they are prototype dolls. I just have to get back to sculpting which is my main love!
